Almora, January 20, 2024 (UP) – Chief Secretary, Uttarakhand Government, Dr. S.S. Sandhu reached Jageshwar Dham today and reviewed the works being done under the master plan in the temple complex. During this, the Chief Secretary took information from the Chief Development Officer about the newly constructed vehicle parking, illumination work and other works under the Master Plan.


The Chief Secretary said that Jageshwar Dham is a very sacred place from the point of view of religious tourism. Devotees come here from all over the country and abroad. He said that whatever construction work is to be done here should be completed within time. On this occasion, the Chief Secretary also offered prayers at Jageshwar Dham.
During this, people raised the issue of damage to the houses due to landslides near the houses of 06 families in village Jeeratoli, on which the Chief Secretary directed the Chief Development Officer to provide a report in this regard.
During this, Chief Development Officer Aanksha Conde, Senior Superintendent of Police Devendra Pincha, Manager Jageshwar Temple Committee Jyotsna Pant, Vice President Naveen Bhatt, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Jaivardwan Sharma, S.S. Nagyal and others were present.
