Currently, on a month-long religious preaching tour in Australia, Swami Ram Govind Das announced that he would be providing financial assistance of Rs 51,000 to each affected journalist. This gesture of solidarity and support has come as a ray of hope for the journalists who have been struggling to cope with the aftermath of the riots.
