“Ram Govind Das announced financial aid to journalists affected by the Haldwani Riots”
Swami Ram Govind Das, the head of the Hari Sharranam Jun charitable institution in Uttarakhand, has taken a compassionate and generous step towards the welfare of journalists who were affected by the recent riots in Haldwani.



Ram Govind Das, who hails from Haldwani himself, expressed his deep concern and anger over the unfortunate incident that tarnished the image of the city. He has written a letter to the government, urging them to take strict action against the perpetrators of the attack on journalists. Currently, on a month-long religious preaching tour in Australia, Swami Ram Govind Das announced that he would be providing financial assistance of Rs 51,000 to each affected journalist. This gesture of solidarity and support has come as a ray of hope for the journalists who have been struggling to cope with the aftermath of the riots.
Ram Govind Das has also extended his cooperation to the administration if required, to ensure that justice is served and the guilty are punished. His selfless act of kindness is truly praiseworthy and sets a great example for others to follow.
